A country must stand together in a time of need

As Necromage reminded us, our soldier's in Iraq are also suffering as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the 256 Tiger Brigade out of Louisiana served in Iraq with a unit of the New York National Guard and they are scheduled to come back home next week. As necromage points out, many will no longer have a home to come back to. They served our country, fulfilled their duty and now it is our turn to show our appreciation for all they have done to protect our freedom and our way of life. If you don't feel comfortable with the link to the Amazon.com website for the Red Cross, here is the link to the Red Cross online donation form (found at redcross.org). Remember, you do not have to give out a substantial amount of money, every little bit helps. Do it for the victims, do it for our soldiers who already have sacrificed so much.
